Complaints

We verify before we publish, and we would rather be second than wrong. When we make an error, and we will, we correct it promptly, visibly and without euphemism.

If something we published is wrong, unfair or unclear, we want to hear about it. Complaints are read by the newsroom and reviewed against the article and our standards.

To make a complaint, use our contact form and choose the topic that fits: Correction for a factual error, or Other for any other concern about our coverage. Include the article headline, the passage concerned and what you believe is wrong.

Corrections appear at the foot of the article they correct, labeled Corrections, with the date of the correction and what changed. We do not silently rewrite published copy. Clarifications are labeled as clarifications, as described in our corrections policy.
