Matthew Lowe, Son of Rob Lowe, Marries Emily Markus in Star-Studded Santa Barbara Wedding
Gwyneth Paltrow officiated Saturday's outdoor ceremony, which drew Cameron Diaz, Katy Perry, Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldaña and Maria Shriver. Pre-wedding festivities included a stop at Bluewater Grill.

Matthew Lowe, the 33-year-old eldest son of actor Rob Lowe and Sheryl Berkoff, married Emily Markus in Santa Barbara on Saturday in an outdoor ceremony officiated by actress Gwyneth Paltrow, according to reports.
The guest list read like a Hollywood roll call. Page Six reported that Cameron Diaz, Katy Perry, Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldaña and Maria Shriver were among those in attendance, along with Adam Levine and his wife Behati Prinsloo. Lowe and Berkoff sat in the front row with their younger son, John Owen Lowe, 30, while Paltrow attended with her husband, Brad Falchuk.

The couple warmed up for the big day at Bluewater Grill, the Santa Barbara seafood restaurant, where Markus shared a sunset photo of decorated tables and festive flags on Instagram Stories with the caption "It's wedding weekend eve!"
The Daily Mail reported that Markus wore a strapless white gown with a train and a sheer veil, and that the groom wore a classic black suit and white shirt. The couple got engaged in 2025 after several years of dating.
The celebration came less than two weeks after the death of Fiona Lowe, the 13-year-old daughter of Rob Lowe's brother Chad Lowe and a cousin of the groom, who died on Sept. 29. The family said they were heartbroken by the loss of Fiona, whom they described as a loving and creative girl who loved to dance, and asked for privacy.
